For the captivating logical thinker: Do you speak this language? We are leading the way for youth to seek truth as life.
Do you ever feel a sense of dread when you come up with an idea that could transform everything about your life and story? It's like turning a new page in a book, facing an entirely new era. As parents, it's crucial to act swiftly. We must evolve and adapt to create better experiences for ourselves and our children.
Parent engagement is fundamentally about leadership—guiding our youth to seek truth and meaning in their lives. It’s about appreciating the constraints we once faced, regardless of their size or condition, and recognizing how these challenges shaped us. We’ve become architects of our futures by breaking down barriers of pain and limitations. Our resilience through tough times led us to believe in ourselves and our potential. The plan was always there for us to succeed, and whether acknowledged by others or just by God, our faith was recognized.
Even though doors closed or locked us in reasons we didn’t understand, our faith has opened windows of awareness. These new openings allowed us to confront challenges and build strength with control. Now, as parents, our greatest gift and responsibility is to remember our own journey so that our children can inherit a better world.
You might not realize it, but from before birth, we’ve been on the enemy’s radar. There’s a significant spiritual battle for the attention of parents and teachers of youth. The enemy knows our potential and has studied the details of our lives—our family backgrounds, the challenges we’d face, and the strengths and weaknesses of our environment. This knowledge often oppresses us and creates distractions and confusion. But we have a higher purpose.
To achieve victory, we must focus on parental engagement and strengthening parent-teacher relationships without letting social injustice hinder our progress. We must not lose sight of our gifts and strengths or the promise of our children’s success. Though the enemy thrives on temporary disruptions, part of our society's brokenness—such as social isolation—is something only we can heal together. You likely understand the daily challenges both personally and parentally. Whether it's self-care, balancing creative passions with daily responsibilities, or nurturing your family, you came to serve both the youth and elders to be your best and help your children be even better.
Research shows that for parents to meet their children’s needs effectively, they must also care for their own needs without guilt or frustration. Practical parent engagement addresses these challenges. Together, we’ll explore how to find meaning and fulfillment in everything you do.
Let’s lead confidently by redefining the concept of home as a place for nurturing the mind, body, spirit, and service. Our approach to parent engagement includes engaging workshops and events designed to reduce social isolation in underrepresented communities and to challenge misconceptions about homework, prosperity, service, and purpose.
